Agenda for December 12th Meeting

This agenda was also sent out via the e-mail mailing list. If you're not on the list, please use this link to register.

Agenda for Inner City Branch of the Knitters Guild meeting, December 12, 2009, 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.

This meeting is mostly about getting together before Christmas. Please come if you can! Formal business will be kept to a minimum. The meeting will be held at the City of Sydney Library, 2nd Floor meeting room, Customs House, Circular Quay. Remember to sign the attendance register! Subs are still a gold coin. No Kris Kringle.

11.00 - Brief socialising and meeting set up

11.15 - Business:

  • Welcome to visitors/new members
  • Apologies
  • Minutes of the previous meeting (already been circulated)
  • Convenor's report
  • Treasurer's report
  • Knitting workshops – Jane Downey
  • Any other business

11.45 - Tea/coffee break (Morning tea roster – Barbara, Tia, Kate and Kelly)

Show and tell is likely to follow, but timing is hard to predict. Deborah suggested some time ago that we focus on summer knitting – a good suggestion for this time of year – so keep that in mind.

There is a "knitting in public" event starting at 2 pm at the Sidewalk Café at the Opera House. More details on Ravelry. Lee and Sue seem to be major players. So KIP if it suits you.
