Don't miss our next Knit & Nat on Friday 4 May.  We all missed getting together last time because of Easter Friday, so can't wait for the next one.  We are also getting together for a knitting session at the East Maitland Library on Saturday 12th from 10am - 2pm.  Please feel free to come along and sit and knit.

Our guild meeting today was excellent.  Judith came from Wollombi Wool Stores and showed us so much of her beautiful yarns and patterns.  But because of our visit with Judith we didn't do the moebius lesson so that will happen in next month's meeting.

We are hoping to have Judith from Wollombi Wool Store visiting us this month.  We are just waiting on final details, so come back and check again to confirm that visit.  Judith has recently come back from a trip to the US on an information gathering tour, of all the latest ideas and yarns.  She has much to show and tell.

If Judith is not able to fit it in this month we will be learning to do the Mobius scarf.  For this lesson you will need a circular needle in a size that will suit your chosen yarn, e.g. 8ply needs approx 4mm needle.  The circular also needs to be quite long, at least 40" if not 47".  These are available from Judith at Wollombi and we can arrange to get one for you if you would like.  Please let Joyce know by email  - link on the right.

Unfortunately Knit & Nat will not be on this month due to Good Friday being the on the same day.  Sorry to everyone who was planning to attend.

Last weeks Knitters' Guild meeting was fabulous.  We finally worked out that we could order our lunch and eat it downstairs in our meeting room, which means we all stay together longer than we have in the past.  Most of us didn't leave till nearly 1.30pm.  Everyone said what a wonderful time they had.  Barbara taught quite a few the art of scrumbling.  We can't wait till next month to see what every one has produced.  Thanks Barbara for your excellent teaching.
