Knitting Weekend Away 21-23 August, 2009

Guild Member Kerry Edwards has sent through the following information:

The Morpeth Tea Cosy Challenge is from 20th to 30th August. The Epping Evening Group (KGNSW) will have some entries in this competition.

I can get motel style accommodation 20 mins drive away at the Glendarra Centre, Tocal College, 2.5 hours drive from Sydney. There are 6 rooms with double & single bed in each, plus 9 rooms with 3 singles.
One person in a room $82.50 per night,
2 people sharing 49.50 per person per night and
3 people in a room $44 per person per night.

Each room has a bathroom. Conference room has a kitchenette and there is a BBQ and a big fridge, plus bar fridges in each room. Access to rooms Fri afternoon, use of Conference room Fri evening thru to whenever we leave on Sunday.

Suggest we spend Friday night and all day Sat knitting and into Morpeth sometime Sunday on our way home. BYO food, linen supplied. This could be something partners and children could join in.  Or get together with friends and share a room.

Please let me know if you wish to book a room. Payment to be made per room either to me by cash or cheque, or directly to the College by credit card, by 31 May 2009.
