For those of you who haven't heard of it, Ravelry is a website dedicated to knitting, crochet, and other textile arts:

"Ravelry is a place for knitters, crocheters, designers, spinners, weavers and dyers to keep track of their yarn, tools, project and pattern information, and look to others for ideas and inspiration... Ravelry is a great place for you to keep notes about your projects, see what other people are making, find the perfect pattern and connect with people who love to play with yarn from all over the world in our forums."

Since Ravelry has become the defacto social network for knitters online, the Knitters Guild of NSW have set up an official Ravelry group at http://www.ravelry.com/groups/knitters-guild-nsw-inc. The purpose of the group is to provide another venue for Guild members to communicate, and for prospective members to learn more about us. Ravelry membership is free and open to all. The Guild's Ravelry group is moderated by two members of the Executive Committee.
