The Guild has received a request from Inge, who writes:
I'm hoping you can put me in contact with someone who can do some crochet for me. I have vast sewing skills but sadly on crochet skills. I have 2 hat patterns and would need them to be finished in 4 weeks.
The Guild has received a request from Rachel O'Brien, who writes:
I am interested in finding a competent knitter to knit for me for a fee a gorgeous vintage knitted cardigan (a 1940’s cable pattern). I can knit but I think this is a bit beyond my abilities and I want it to have a really professional look. Would you have any members who would be interested in doing this. I live in Turramurra and would supply the wool and pattern.
The Guild has also received a request from Lynne Cook, who writes:
I live in the Sutherland Shire and we used to have a number of wool shops but sadly no more. I think the last one we had was Wisteria at Miranda which was a great shop but it is no longer there. I have knotted a beautiful alpaca jumper but do not want to ruin it by attempting to put it together myself. I used to be able to get woollens done at Wisteria but now I don't know where to go. Do you have any members over this way (southside) who would do a job like this? I would be interested know of any.
Many thanks in advance, for your assistance.
