Standards Committee

The Standards Committee has prepared Achievement Certificate syllabi to assist Guild members to improve their knowledge and expertise in both knitting and crochet. The syllabi cover basic techniques to those more complex and are meant to be a learning experience. On successful completion of each stage a Certificate is awarded.

Judges

We supply on request experienced judges for various Shows including the Royal Agricultural Society, Castle Hill show and some country shows. In 2004 the Guild started training sessions for those members who are interested in training as judges.

Workshops

In conjunction with the Workshop Committee we suggest tutors for workshops to be held throughout each year. These workshops cover a wide area from basic techniques to design and new styles in knitting and crochet.
